Rancho Penasquitos
Rancho Peñasquitos is located in North County San Diego that provides a home to more than 52,000 residents. It is located just south of Rancho Bernardo, west of Interstate 15, and north of Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve. The community offers an area of approximately 10,000 acres including Black Mountain Regional Park, with only half of the land being used for housing.
Reaching to over 1,500 feet above the surrounding area, the most distinctive landmark in the community is Black Mountain. The rolling landscape and mesas allow for privacy and a sense of peace and for the residents of each neighborhood.
Peñasquitos locals enjoy large areas of parkland and open space, offering a chance to soak up the beautiful San Diego weather. In addition to the residential development, the community includes several town centers to meet any of your needs.

The local school affiliated in this award winning district is a main attraction for joining the PQ community. In addition to the outstanding children’s education, Palomar College offers courses at an extended location in Peñasquitos.

Located within San Diego city limits, Rancho Peñasquitos realizes the benefits of feeling far enough removed from the hustle-and-bustle of one of the nation's largest cities. The community provides an abundance of sports and recreation programs for children and adults alike. PQ offers various club sports for all ages as well as family fun activities at the local YMCA.
